CADC is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. These credentials allow me to practice substance use counseling and co-occurring mental health.

What brought you to Health Quest?

Joining HQ was a no brainer, I shared many common therapeutic modalities with the team and combining forces just made sense! The team at HQ all have a wealth of knowledge in multiple fields and I have always wanted to work in an environment that challenges me and encourages me to grow. After touring the space at HQ I was really sold, I could see my clients and future clients finding a home here as well.

What does innovation mean for you and your practice?

Innovation for me describes the way I approach each session. I always look into evidence based practices and match that with innovative ways I can connect with my clients. I believe innovation is a skill in therapy that can make an impact in our clients lives.

What are some recent developments in your field that you are most excited about?

Experiential therapy in treating substance use is becoming widely used and recognized to help with substance use disorder.

What media (books, films, TV etc.) do find most inspirational?

I love the book "The Four Agreements'' by Don Ruiz. This was an impactful book in my life and I use many of the teachings in my practice and everyday life.

What does good self-care look like for you?

Self care is so important in practicing balance in my life. I am a competitive tennis player and play many tournaments nationally, so training/ traveling and keeping up with my health help with balance.
